The intermittent or continuous thermal transfer direct printing modules from Carl Valentin Dynacode II are among the most powerful and efficient printing systems in the industry and meet the highest quality standards. With their easy integration into your infrastructure, they allow a wide range of applications in all sectors requiring the printing of high quality and high resolution variable information such as best before dates, batch numbers, production codes and barcodes directly on to a huge range of packaging films, foils, cardboard and other materials. When required, these direct coders can also be installed in print and apply systems for label printing.
Continuous mode:
When printing continuously the printhead stands still while the packaging foil is guided through. Printing takes place during the operation of packaging machine.
Intermittent mode:
When printing intermittently the printhead moves over the foil in order to move back to initial position. Printing takes place while the machine is at a short standstill, frequently while packaging is being filled.

In 2014 we purchased a WILUX printing and labelling system for labelling folding boxes. The filled boxes are placed manually on a vacuum tape and then labelled from above with a product label with barcode and a lot number and a 2D code is printed on the side with an HR inkjet system. In case of an invalid verification of the two printed codes, the product is ejected. On another section of the line, a transparent sealing label is applied to both ends of the box, which ensures the first opening guarantee. Two sensors check the successful application of the tamper-evidence guarantee and eject faulty sealed products. WILUX has mastered the high requirements and standards of the pharmaceutical industry with bravour and has also excellently complied with and implemented clean room regulations in order to be able to ensure and guarantee production and data security at all times.
